We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator with specialized experience in managing a private data center that hosts critical ABIS and eKYC solutions. The ideal candidate should be proficient in the latest versions of VMware technologies and skilled in virtualized networking and data center management.

Key Responsibilities:

• VMware Administration: Expert in managing VMware ESXi 7.x or higher and VMware vSphere 7.x or higher environments. Capable of spawning and managing instances, setting up ESG clusters, and ensuring optimal performance.
• Data Center Operations: Oversee both primary and disaster recovery sites for high availability and resilience of ABIS and eKYC solutions.
• Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to virtualization, networking, and data center hardware.

• Networking Expertise: Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting subnet configurations, DHCP, and other networking issues within VMware virtual switch Environments.
• Maintenance and Upgrades: Regularly update and maintain systems with the latest patches and upgrades to ensure security and efficiency.
• Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using specific tools for virtualization and network management, such as VMware vRealize Operations, NSX-T for network virtualization, and other relevant VMware tools.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in system administration, with extensive experience in VMware environments.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Planning & systematic: Well disciplined in planning the physical infrastructure, including any migration activities. Further, a keen eye for detailing the tagging of physical infra and documenting the same.

Technical Skills:

• Mastery of VMware ESXi 7.x, VMware vSphere 7.x, and associated tools.
• Strong understanding of networking in a virtualized environment.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Certifications: VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or higher is preferred.
• Automation and Scripting: Experience with automation tools and scripting languages is a plus.
• Proactive Operations: Ability to anticipate and prevent potential system issues.
