Job Description:

• We are looking for an Automation Engineer to join our automation team to establish powerful Test Automation frameworks and tools that shape how we deliver our applications
• You will be responsible to create/maintain test automation at various levels in order to make application delivery fast and of solid quality.

Responsibilities:

• You will work closely with squads as a quality gatekeeper and monitor/review code quality at various levels i.e. unit, integration, end to end.
• You will be involved in writing/maintaining scripts for API automation and Contract Automation.
• Being an Automation Engineer, you will own/work with the architecture of the Test Automation Framework.
• You will work on improving the Test Automation Frameworks and Test Suites to be more effective.
• You are going to be part of the team that influences how applications automatically tested.
• You will bridge the gap between application code and the Test Automation Framework to increase Test Automation capabilities.
• You will be supporting squads for performance testing as and when new APIs and capabilities are developed. 8. You will be involved in various POCS to explore and implement new technologies, tools etc. to take Test Automation to the next level

Skills:

Must have

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in software test automation
• Experience in any Ul automation frameworks e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Espresso
• Experience in API automation frameworks e.g. Rest Assured, Karate framework
• Knowledge in Performance testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner is a plus
• Experience with versioning tools eg. Git, Gitlabs, Bitbucket
• Experience in CI/CD tools e.g. Jenkins, ArgoCD
• Experience in any programming languages including Javascript, Java, Python, Kotlin, Ruby

Nice to have:

• Experience with scripting languages, for advanced Cl integrations
• Solid understanding for code quality and modern testing framework architectures
• Meticulous about high-quality code, automated testing, and other engineering best practices
• Experience with Al frameworks and libraries
• Ability to take an end-to-end approach to getting things done
