1.Objective

Join us as an Air-Freight Sourcing Specialist to lead strategic partnerships with airlines and logistics providers, driving competitive solutions and operational excellence in global air freight sourcing.

2. Job Description

– Air Procurement

– Expand and Manage Air Logistics Business

– Air Product Development

3. Role & Responsibility:

  • Identify, source, and assess Airline’s performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Ensure to manage and maintain a good Business Relationship with Airlines & Logistics Companies. Source the Best Airlines which can provide the most reasonable price.
  • Manage contract negotiations, including rate agreements, service commitments, and performance metrics. Negotiate, Bidding the spot rates (price/space) with Airlines & Logistics Companies. Develop Air products and provide the best option for clients. Collaborate with the other related department.
  • Monitor and Analyse the Air Logistics market trends, price forecasting, demand and supply status etc. Accurately prepare Market Sensing report. Derive the insight and develop internal strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize procurement processes and ensure alignment with business goals. Develop and implement the air procurement strategy with team to increase the revenue for Air product.

4. REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree above . Major in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred.
  • Working experience in Air product sales or pricing, procurement across region is a must.
  • English Advance Level
  • Other language skill is a plus (Chinese/Korean/etc.)

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years’ experience in logistics
  • Work experience in Global Logistics Company or Airline/ Air Freight Market
  • Deep understanding of Air spot rate and SCM Logistics
  • Strong Air cargo sales experience, B2B Sales and Marketing Experience
  • Good knowledge and skill in developing Air spot rate and able to negotiate the rate with carriers/ airlines
  • Strong Network & relationship with airlines and logistics service providers.
  • Well versed in international air cargo regulations, including customs, security, and environmental standards.

SKILLS:

  • Strong understanding of air freight operations, capacity management, and cost structures.
  • Proven track record in negotiating with airlines and logistics service providers.
  • Excellent in Communication, Negotiation and relationship-building skills with internal teams and external partners.
  • Excellent in interpersonal skills/ service mind, Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle conflicts
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft computer skills
